FIELD REPAIRABLE POLES
Our tent poles are some of the strongest in the industry - Extruded from 7001 Hi-tensule aluminum, our poles are annodized for protection from the elements. The shock-corded, locking tip assures a secure connection for a tightly pitched tent. With a pole this strong it is easy to understand how we can guarantee them for life.

FLYSHEETS
Our rainflys are made of an exclusive blend of polyester and nylon, in a weave we call Diamondback. This combination resists UV degradation better than nylon alone, and is more dimensionally stable, providing less sag when wet and less shrinkage when hot. Flysheets are cut to fully protect the tent by coming down low to the ground, while leaving space for airflow to come up and under the fly, helping prevent condensation build-up. Set-up is a breeze with guypoints that attach to the tent frame, and easy to use side-release buckles that fasten to the treated, non-wicking, stake-out webbing. Care is taken to pattern and cut the rainfly, so it will taut to quickly shed rain.

THE TENT
While the flysheet is the roof over your head, the tent body is your living room. You want your living room to be nice and dry, with no intrusive insects, and your tent should be too. With a Walrus there is room to store things, room to fully sit up*, lie down easily to sleep or to stargaze, and the ability to control ventilation. The basic comforts are always there in a Walrus tent.
* the ultra-light series may not accommodate sitting up |
